Electronics and information technology for road weather reports

Being alerted to local weather conditions, as well as storing and analyzing statistical data of main parameters can be valid, and at times crucial, tools for optimizing winter roadway management.
For this purpose, Agristrade has installed some of its facilities with a weather station including dedicated software developed by our Information Technology and Automation Department for the storage and graphic representation of weather parameters, such as:

- air temperature - ground temperature - subsurface temperature - atmospheric pressure - precipitation - wind speed and direction

These parameters, correlated to the parameters of salt distributions, can facilitate and be the key to operating decisions for preventing the formation of ice and offering the highest level of service to motorists.
